A Safe Place to Talk About Your Loss

Grief is hard, and everyone experiences it differently. You may feel overwhelmed, numb, sad, or even angry—and all of those feelings are completely normal. Our goal is to offer a space where you can talk about what you're going through and get the support you need to start healing.

What is Individual Grief Therapy?

Individual grief therapy is one-on-one support designed to help you work through your grief in a way that’s personal and meaningful to you. Together, we’ll explore your feelings, memories, and the changes that come with loss. There’s no rush, and no pressure—we’ll move at your pace.

How We Can Help You

Grief can leave you feeling isolated, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. In your sessions, we’ll talk about what you’re experiencing and find ways to help you cope and heal. This might include:

  • Talking through your emotions: Grief can bring up a lot of feelings. We'll explore them together so you don’t have to carry them alone.
  • Finding new routines: Loss often changes our daily lives. We’ll work on ways to create new routines and find comfort in them.
  • Honoring your loved one: If it’s important to you, we can talk about how to keep your loved one’s memory alive in meaningful ways.
  • Building resilience: Over time, we’ll work on strategies to help you find strength and hope, even on the toughest days.

Is Grief Therapy Right for You?

Grief therapy might be a good fit if you’re:

  • Feeling stuck in your grief, unable to move forward.
  • Struggling to cope with daily life after a loss.
  • Experiencing emotional pain that feels overwhelming or unbearable.
  • Feeling disconnected from others or alone in your grief.
  • Looking for someone to talk to who understands grief and loss.

It doesn’t matter if your loss is recent or from years ago. Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and healing can start whenever you’re ready.

What to Expect in Our Sessions

In individual grief therapy, you’ll have a safe, private space to share your story, at your own pace. We'll be there to listen, guide, and support you as you process your feelings and begin to heal. Each session is tailored to what you need, whether that’s talking, learning new coping strategies, or just sitting with your emotions.

The first session will be a chance to get to know each other, talk about what you're going through, and figure out how we can best support you. From there, we’ll create a plan that feels right for you.
