Losing a loved one is never easy. Grief is a complex and challenging process with no clear-cut answers. Ideally, you would want your loved one back with you, but that's not the reality. Instead, you are left to pick up the pieces and find ways to handle the grief.
Grief can be unpredictable, with good and bad days. You may experience a range of emotions, from crying spells, anger, and frustration to guilt, isolation, and forgetfulness. You might have trouble sleeping and eating or feel like isolating yourself. These symptoms can accompany grief and make the journey even more challenging to navigate.
During your healing process, you need support, validation, and a safe space to express how you feel without judgment. With grief, it can feel like you must pretend to be okay and keep going as if nothing happened. That's not fair to you or your loved one. Holistic Counseling Services offers a grief-approved safe space for our clients to share their journey.
Our goal is to help you gain a better understanding of how grief works, support and validate your feelings, and provide you with the skills to navigate your journey in your way. You can also expect to let go of the expectations placed on you by others or yourself of how grief should look.

The therapy sessions are specifically designed to offer a safe and non-judgmental space to express your grief freely. Your therapist will create a supportive environment, sharing that space with you while offering guidance to help navigate your journey through grief.
Grief Therapy for Couples
This 90-minute grief therapy session aims to facilitate the healing process for couples coping with a shared loss, particularly focusing on those who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a child.
Grief Support Groups
Grief support groups offer a compassionate and empathetic space, providing individuals with hope, and an opportunity to offer and receive support from others who are similarly affected. We invite you to join us on this challenging life journey.
Mental Support During and After Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a beautiful experience, but it can also come with unexpected challenges. Your body undergoes numerous changes mentally and physically. Your mental health during and after pregnancy is a priority. We’re honored to assist you in navigating the highs and lows of motherhood.

Our therapist is a certified labor and postpartum doula and has additional training in Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy. She is a mom of 4 and has over 20 years of parenting experience.
